Rupert Ursin
Rupert Ursin is a Senior Group Leader and Deputy Director at IQOQI Vienna . His group is active in the field of quantum communication and contributed to the foundations of quantum physics (e.g. loophole-free Bell test) as well as it’s applications (e.g. in quantum key distributions). One interest is the intersection of gravity and quantum physics in micro- and hyper g experiments. He is also leading an international effort, to bring a quantum physics experiment to the International Space Station (ISS). and develops quantum sources for space. Future ESQ Postdocs will have to unique opportunity to work quantum optics experiments in a space environment.
